Here are some examples of how to use the search form. Please note that this form searches through the entire site so you may get results that have too many pages returned. Try to "narrow" your search using the different options listed here:
- If you type: information retrieval
- lists documents containing 'information' or 'retrieval'
- If you type: information and retrieval
- lists only documents containing both words 'information' and 'retrieval'
- If you type: information not retrieval
- lists only documents containing 'information' but not 'retrieval'
- If you type: (information not retrieval) and WAIS
- lists documents containing 'WAIS', plus 'information' but not 'retrieval'
- If you type: web*
- lists documents containing words starting with 'web'. This is known as a "wildcard" and can be a very powerful limiter.
